[News] Emma Watson Joins The Cast of the Remake Film, “Little Women”

Emma Watson is set to join Greta Gerwig’s star-studded remake of “Little Women.”

Sources are reporting that Emma will be playing the part originally intended for Emma Stone, who was unable to join the project because of her obligations for the film and award season contender “The Favourite.” With production expected to start next month, Sony moved quickly to approach Watson.

Roles are still being worked out and it is unknown which sister Watson is to play, but since Emma Stone was to play Jo, it’s possible that Watson is to play her.

Gerwig is writing and directing, with Meryl Streep, Laura Dern, Saoirse Ronan, Timothee Chalamet, and Florence Pugh in negotiations to star in Sony’s retelling of the American classic.

Amy Pascal is set to produce with Denise Di Novi and Robin Swicord. Andrea Giannetti will oversee for Sony Productions.

The Book & Film Info:
“The novel by Louisa May Alcott, follows the March sisters in Civil War-era America.”

Watson most recently appeared opposite Tom Hanks in “The Circle.” She is represented by CAA and Untitled Entertainment.

[News] Emma Watson Wears Fake “Time’s Up” Tattoo To Oscars

Emma Watson wore a temporary tattoo to the 2018 Oscars and it read, “Times Up” instead of “Time’s Up”, in support of the Time’s Up movement, which is helping to fight sexual harassment in the film industry.

The actress later joked on Twitter, saying she needs a tattoo proof reader after her temporary inking had a grammatical error, that was quickly pointed out by her fans, informing her of the missing apostrophe.

Emma wrote on Twitter: “Fake proofreading position available. Experience with apostrophes a must.”

The actress showed off the new tattoo on her way to the Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday, March 4th, 2018.
